Terms of Service — BillSight

1. About this agreement

These terms govern the relationship between you (the customer) and BillSight, a trading name of Alkaid Digital Ltd ("we", "us"). By purchasing a BillSight analysis, you agree to these terms. Please read them before submitting payment.

2. What BillSight provides

BillSight provides a bill analysis service. For each order you receive:

A review of the utility bill(s) you submit, checked against current UK benchmarks and regulations
A written report delivered to your email address within 24 hours of bill submission
Findings written in plain English with specific savings estimates where applicable

Important: BillSight reports are informational only. They are not regulated financial or energy advice. You are responsible for verifying findings with your supplier and for any decisions you make as a result of the report. BillSight has no commercial relationship with any energy or water supplier.

3. Payment

Payment is required upfront before analysis begins. The fee is £79 + VAT per bill submission, processed securely via Stripe. We do not store your payment details.

Prices are shown exclusive of VAT. UK VAT at the standard rate will be added at checkout where applicable.

4. Money-back guarantee

If your analysis identifies no issues and no potential savings, we will refund your fee in full — no questions asked. To request a refund on this basis, email [email protected] within 7 days of receiving your report.

The guarantee applies where the analysis is genuinely clear. It does not apply if findings are identified and you simply disagree with them, or if the bill submitted was unreadable or incomplete.

5. Your responsibilities

To receive a useful analysis, you must:

Submit a real, readable UK business utility bill (PDF or clear photograph)
Ensure the bill is your most recent available bill
Ensure the file is under 10MB and legible — we cannot analyse blurred or heavily cropped images

If a submitted bill is unreadable, we will contact you to request a clearer copy before processing.

6. What we cannot guarantee

Our analysis is based entirely on the information visible in the bill you provide. We cannot verify information that is not present on the bill itself, and our findings are limited by the quality and completeness of the document submitted.

Estimated savings are indicative only. Actual savings depend on your supplier, your usage, your ability to act on our findings, and market conditions at the time you take action.

7. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, BillSight's liability in connection with any order is limited to the fee paid for that order. We are not liable for indirect losses, loss of profit, or any action taken (or not taken) on the basis of our report.

Nothing in these terms limits our liability for fraud, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

8. Independence

BillSight operates independently of all energy and water suppliers. We do not receive commission, referral fees, or any other payment from suppliers or brokers. Our analysis reflects only what we find in your bill — it is not influenced by any commercial relationship with any third party.

9. Your report

Your report is provided for your own internal use. You may not resell, republish, or commercially redistribute the contents of a BillSight report without our written permission.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
