1. About this agreement
These terms govern the relationship between you (the customer) and BillSight, a trading name of Alkaid Digital Ltd ("we", "us"). By purchasing a BillSight analysis, you agree to these terms. Please read them before submitting payment.
2. What BillSight provides
BillSight provides an AI-powered energy bill analysis service. For each order you receive:
- A review of the energy bill(s) you submit, checked against current UK benchmarks and regulations
- A written report delivered to your email address, typically within hours of bill submission
- Findings written in plain English with specific savings estimates where applicable
You may submit up to 6 energy bills (electricity and/or gas) per order.
Important: BillSight reports are informational only. They are not regulated financial or energy advice. You are responsible for verifying findings with your supplier and for any decisions you make as a result of the report. BillSight has no commercial relationship with any energy supplier.
3. AI-powered analysis
BillSight uses artificial intelligence (specifically, Anthropic's Claude API) to analyse your energy bills. The AI checks your bills against current published benchmarks, VAT thresholds, levy rates, and billing regulations. All findings are sourced and cited in your report.
While we take care to ensure accuracy, AI analysis is not infallible. You should verify any findings with your energy supplier before making contractual changes.
4. Payment
Payment is required upfront before analysis begins. The fee is £29 + VAT per submission, processed securely via Stripe. We do not store your payment details.
Prices are shown exclusive of VAT. UK VAT at the standard rate will be added at checkout where applicable.
5. Money-back guarantee
If our analysis finds no issues with your bill(s), we will refund your fee in full upon request. To request a refund, email info@billsight.co.uk within 14 days of receiving your report.
6. Your responsibilities
To receive a useful analysis, you must:
- Submit real, readable UK business energy bills (electricity and/or gas) as PDF files
- Ensure each file is under 10MB and legible — we cannot analyse blurred or heavily cropped images
- Submit no more than 6 bills per order
If a submitted bill is unreadable, we will contact you to request a clearer copy before processing.
7. What we cannot guarantee
Our analysis is based entirely on the information visible in the bill(s) you provide. We cannot verify information that is not present on the bill itself, and our findings are limited by the quality and completeness of the documents submitted.
Estimated savings are indicative only. Actual savings depend on your supplier, your usage, your ability to act on our findings, and market conditions at the time you take action.
8. Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, BillSight's liability in connection with any order is limited to the fee paid for that order. We are not liable for indirect losses, loss of profit, or any action taken (or not taken) on the basis of our report.
Nothing in these terms limits our liability for fraud, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
9. Independence
BillSight operates independently of all energy suppliers. We do not receive commission, referral fees, or any other payment from suppliers or brokers. Our analysis reflects only what we find in your bill — it is not influenced by any commercial relationship with any third party.
10. Your report
Your report is provided for your own internal use. You may not resell, republish, or commercially redistribute the contents of a BillSight report without our written permission.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
12. Complaints
If you are unhappy with your report or our service, please email info@billsight.co.uk in the first instance. We aim to respond within 2 working days.
